Update Device Drivers

As outdated drivers don’t support latest games, you would experience game crashing in case your PC is loaded with old versions of device drivers. To avoid COD crashing, update device drivers. Below are steps to update device drivers.

1. Start | All Programs | Windows Updates | Check for Updates | Follow on screen instructions.
2. Download driver from manufacturer’s website.

1. Click on Start button | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools
2. Disk Cleanup
3. Select the Partition and press OK
4. Repeat the process for all partitions.

Configure the Game Console

1. Open console by pressing Tlide (~) key of your keypad.
2. Type a. snd_restart
b. cl_maxpackets 100

3. Double click to open: SteamApps\Common\Call of Duty Black Ops\Players
5. Delete the configuration files listed below:
a. config.cfg
b. config_mp.cfg
4. Close the Window and restart the game.
