Netflix error code n8307 Fix

Netflix error code n8307 appears when you attempt to watch movie or TV show on your Windows computer. Before you start fixing this error on your system, try with another title--if new title worked, go to Instant watching activity in Netflix and report the problem. If newly assigned title is causing same error, follow the steps given below: 







Uninstall and Reinstall Silverlight:

You should completely uninstall Microsoft Silverlight in order to fix Netflix error n8307. Follow the procedure given below to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Silverlight.

1. Click on Start | Control Panel
2. From add/remove programs, click on Microsoft Silverlight
3. Select Uninstall
4. Visit Microsoft’s website and download latest version of Silverlight on your system.

Run your Browser as Administrator:

Another solution to n8307 error is to run your browser as Administrator. If you are on Internet Explorer, follow the steps given below.

1. Close all other applications.
2. Click on Start
3. Select Programs | Right Click on Internet Explorer
4. Run as Administrator | Select Allow if prompted for confirmation.
5. Start playing movie on Netflix.

Add Netflix to Trusted Sites:

Error code n8307 can be fixed by adding Netflix to trusted websites. You can add Netflix to trusted sites in Internet Explorer by applying steps given below.

1. Open Internet Explorer, Press ALT + T | Internet Options
2. Click on Security tab | Trusted Sites | Sites
3. Now uncheck Require Server Verification | Delete anything related to Netflix
4. Type *.netflix.com in Add this website to zone | Add
5. Click on Close
6. Play Netflix video


Troubleshoot Connectivity Issues:

Error n8307 and other streaming related issues can be fixed by troubleshooting connectivity issues.

1. Unplug and replug your modem after 3 minutes. Now open Netflix and watch videos.
2. If you are on Wireless connection, change position of your router.
3. Bypass your router and connect directly to your computer.
4. Contact your service provider if problem persists.

Run Disk Cleanup:

Running disk cleanup won’t directly fix this error but it would help you improving browsing experience. Follow the steps given below to run disk cleanup.

1. Click on Start | Programs | Accessories
2. Click on System Tools | Disk Cleanup
3. Now select Disk Volume | OK
4. Wait for few moments | Repeat steps 1 to 3 for all volumes
