Message from Webpage/ object error

You may receive message from webpage Object Error any time while you are surfing Internet. This type of error normally occurs in Internet Explorer. This article is complete workaround to resolve object error at ease.

Resolution Steps

· Change IE Mode
· Stop Script Debugging
· Use Compatibility View
· Reset IE Settings
· Repair Windows Registry

Change IE Mode

You need to use Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) mode in order to resolve object error. Follow the instructions given below to change Internet Explorer mode.

1. Click on Start | Select All Programs
2. Click on Accessories in All Programs
3. Select System Tools from Accessories
4. Now click on Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

If above procedure resolves your problem, follow the method given below to isolate browser add-on that is causing Object Error.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools in Menu Bar | Select Internet Options
3. Click on Programs | GOTO Manage Add-ons
4. Disable each add-on one by one to identify which one is causing error.
5. Restart browser, once done.

Stop Script Debugging

You should disable script debugging in order to resolve the message from webpage/ object error. Below are some steps to disable script debugging.

1. Open Internet Explorer | Click on Tools in menu bar
2. Select Internet Options | Click on Advanced tab
3. In advanced tab, scroll down to browsing section | Unmark “Disable a notification about every script error”
4. Apply | OK

Use Compatibility View

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Compatibility View
3. It would change icon from outline to solid color
You can also turn on compatibility view through Tools menu in Internet Explorer.

Reset IE Settings

Message from webpage/object error can also be fixed by resetting Internet Explorer Settings. Follow the instructions given below to reset IE settings.

1. Close all active programs
2. Click on Start | Type Internet Explorer in Search Box
3. Right-click on Internet Explorer to Run as Administrator
4. Now click on Tools | Select Internet Options
5. Select Advanced Tab | Click Reset
6. Now Delete InPrivate Filtering data, browsing history, accelerators, search providers and home pages
7. Click on Reset in Reset Internet Explorer Settings
8. Close browser once it finishes restoring settings
